Restoration Community Resources receives the Spirit Award from Melaleuea, Inc. Restoration Community Resources received the Spirit Award from Melaleuca in 2009. The Spirit Award was presented to Restoration Community Resources in recognition of outstanding community service. Restoration Community Resources has an Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program which has positively affected and continues to impact the lives of both parents and their children.

Restoration Community Resources has awarded several scholarships to high school seniors who are participating in the mentoring group. The mentoring group also offers financial and investment strategies to parents.

Melaleuca has partnered with Restoration Community Resources since 2004 through our Charitable Organization Program. We at Melaleuca are excited about how the financial impact of the Charitable Organization Program assisted Restoration Community accomplish their goals.

Note from Essendant (United Stationers). Our company has been working with RCR for over three years now. This organization has a passion for fueling young men with the leadership they need to grow and achieve more than they ever would have otherwise. Positive role models are incredibly important. RCR provides mentoring, entrepreneurial training, and growth opportunities that will prove to be invaluable in the lives of numerous young men. I particularly like the way that RCR offers growth opportunities to the young men. Rather than simply giving guidance and offering opportunities, RCR has expectations for the young men and holds them accountable for reaching and expanding their potential. This is evident in the way that RCR partners with our Charitable Foundation. Rather than simply seeking grants, RCR partnered with us by volunteering help provide birthday gifts to the children of fallen soldiers. They also donate shoeboxes of gifts each year that are distributed through Operation Christmas Child. This organization truly exemplifies the principle of servant leadership and has been a wonderful partner. I would encourage any organization with an interest of investing in their community to consider partnering with RCR.
